Hyperfine is highlighting the publication of recently published peer-reviewed studies supporting the use of its Swoop portable MRI system in neurosurgical and stroke care settings beyond the critical care environment.
The July 2026 issue of the Journal of Neurosurgery featured cases in which the Swoop system was used in an ambulatory neurosurgery center following endovascular procedures, enabling same-day discharge by confirming the absence of acute ischemic injury or intracranial hemorrhage.
The journal Stroke also published a collection of articles reviewing the value of low-field MRI across the stroke continuum, including pre-hospital stroke care, acute stroke, neurocritical care, and cerebral small vessel disease, the company said.
Hyperfine said the Swoop system is now supported by more than 180 peer-reviewed publications and editorials and over 280 scientific presentations across multiple care settings.
