Nuclear medicine equipment and services firm Digirad announced a drop in its second quarter revenues due to COVID-19 while its six-month results increased.
For the second quarter (end-June 30) the firm posted revenue of $22.3 million, down 13.6% compared with revenue of $25.8 million in the same period the year before. The company's net loss for the most recent period was $1.3 million, compared with a net loss of $1.5 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2019.
For the first six months of 2020, Digirad posted net revenue of $51.2 million, which is a 3% increase from 2019 when its net revenue was $49.7 million. The company's net income for the first six months was $4.2 million, an increase from its net loss of $3.1 million in 2019.
