Belgian radiopharmaceutical developer Institute for Radioelements - Environment and Life Science Technology (IRE-ELiT) has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with radiopharmaceutical supplier Cardinal Health.
Under the deal, Cardinal will be responsible for distributing IRE-ELiT's Galli Eo germanium-68/gallium-68 generator in North America to support clinical investigational trials, precommercial research, and commercial sales in the territory, IRE-ELiT said.
First launched in 2016, Galli Eo shows potential to enhance diagnostics for certain cancers such as prostate cancer and neuroendocrine tumors, according to the vendor.
