Nuclear medicine products firm IBA Molecular will display its new education marketing initiative, Empact, for PET and PET/CT in its booth during the technical exhibits in McCormick Place during the 2006 RSNA show.
Empact is a Web-based education and marketing portfolio for PET and PET/CT, and features an array of key marketing tools, as well as comprehensive indication-specific campaigns, to ensure that marketing professionals have the appropriate clinical background to communicate with referring physicians about PET/CT imaging, according to Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium-based IBA.
In addition, Empact provides focused clinical case studies and computer-based educational symposiums aimed to reinforce accurate applications of PET/CT so referring physicians can provide the best quality of care for patients. The indication-specific campaigns average four to six weeks per topic, IBA said.
Empact is available at no charge to IBA customers and is available worldwide, the company said.
