Hermes Medical Solutions has secured Health Canada approval for the latest release of its Hermia molecular imaging and dosimetry software platform, enabling clinical use across Canadian nuclear medicine and theranostics practices.
Key features now authorized for use in Canada include the following:
- Hermia SIRT, an enhanced dosimetry application for selective internal radiation therapy featuring CT-based organ segmentation, live dose optimization, multitarget planning, automated 3D lung shunt calculations, and deformable registration for post-therapy assessment.
- Hermia Lung Lobe Quantification, which combines CT segmentation of lung lobes with perfusion and ventilation SPECT imaging to support procedures such as lung volume reduction.
The platform supports PET/CT, SPECT/CT, PET/MR, and RTDOSE modalities, according to the company.
