Study: Global molecular therapies market tops $7 billion

The worldwide molecular-targeted therapies (MTT) market reached $7.5 billion in 2005.

Expectations are that the global market could escalate to $25.2 billion by 2015, with a compounded annual growth rate of 13%.

The report from Dublin-based Research and Markets notes that cancer treatment continues to "embrace the inclusion of molecular-targeted therapies into standard treatment regimens," as more MTT therapies gain regulatory approval around the world.
