GE HealthCare is offering upgrade pathways for select legacy Innova and Discovery angiography systems to give customers access to its Allia platform technologies without requiring major infrastructure replacement.

Depending on system configuration and market availability, upgrade options may provide access to the following:

  • CleaRecon DL, an AI-enabled deep-learning reconstruction tool designed to reduce streak artifacts in cone-beam CT image interpretation

  • 3DStent, an intraprocedural tool for 3D visualization of coronary stents

  • OmnifyXR Interventional Suite, an augmented reality guidance tool for procedures including prostate embolization

  • Embo ASSIST AI, an augmented guidance tool for embolization workflow

  • Medis Quantitative Flow Ratio, a software tool for coronary physiology assessment in coronary artery disease patients

  • AVVIGO+ intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) platform for catheterization lab guidance

Upgraded systems also qualify for GE HealthCare's Tube Watch and OnWatch Predict service options, which use AI to provide estimated lead time to failure for proactive maintenance. The upgrade pathways are available in the U.S. and other markets where Allia IGS systems are cleared or approved, GE HealthCare said.
