Onset Medical names Bishop as president and CEO

Interventional device developer Onset Medical of Irvine, CA, has promoted Joseph Bishop to president and chief executive officer (CEO).

Bishop, who joined the firm in 2004 as its vice president and chief operating officer, has more than 20 years of experience in the medical device industry, including management positions at companies such as Indianapolis-based Guidant (now owned by Boston Scientific of Natick, MA), according to Onset.
