Natick, MA-based Intact Medical plans to display its Intact Breast Lesion Excision System (BLES) in its booth at the RSNA 2006 conference.
The vacuum-assisted, image-guided device allows clinicians to make complete excisions in a single pass of a breast lesion. BLES has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for full or partial removal of an imaged abnormality. In June, the company received a U.S. patent for technology related to BLES.
Also in its booth, Intact Medical will introduce Intact Advance wand, which features a new bladed tip.
