Carestream Healthcare International has launched Starview, a floor-mounted digital radiography (DR) room designed for routine radiographic imaging in healthcare facilities modernizing from film-based, computed radiography, or older systems.
The system includes a wireless 43 x 43 cm detector with charging in the detector tray, an eight-inch tube-head touchscreen, table detector-tray auto-tracking, and three generator configurations for different electrical infrastructure requirements. A second detector is available as an option to support different room workflows, Carestream said.
Starview supports patient and exam management, digital image acquisition, image review, and output across connected or standalone workflow environments. Availability varies by market, the company noted.
