Rayence launches portable x-ray systems

Rayence has launched Anywhere-M, an integrated portable x-ray diagnostic system for human healthcare combining a portable generator, digital detector, and imaging software in a single platform.

The system is designed for emergency, trauma, home healthcare, and field settings. It also incorporates Rayence's Shine image processing technology to improve signal-to-noise ratio in low-dose x-ray images, the firm said.

The wireless detector has passed a 1.2-meter drop test in accordance with U.S. military standards (MIL-STD-810H), and the portable generator supports up to 493 exposures on a single charge, Rayence said. The system supports imaging across anatomical regions including the chest, shoulder, knee, skull, and hand.

Rayence also launched Anywhere-V, a companion portable x-ray system optimized for veterinary and large-animal field practice, including equine hospitals, livestock farms, and wildlife rescue settings. Anywhere-V incorporates the same Shine image processing technology and supports multiple portable generator configurations in battery-powered and AC-powered options, the company said.
