Shimadzu Medical Systems USA has introduced the FluoroSpeed X1 edition ST, a patient-side conventional radiography/fluoroscopy table system.
The system is the latest in the company’s FluoroSpeed series and features 665-lb. static patient weight capacity and a 500-lb all-motion weight capacity. The system includes a 17-inch × 17-inch flat-panel detector in the table bucky for both fluoroscopy and radiographic use, a 31.5-inch aperture opening for wheelchair access, and an ambidextrous control handle with fingertip access to anatomical program settings and programmable function buttons, according to the company.
Enhancements in the ST configuration include a crosshair line marker for radiation-free patient positioning, LED lighting under the deck, a lead apron with a transparent viewing window, and radiation dose structured reporting.
