SpectraWave secures $13.2M in financing

SpectraWave has secured $13.2 million in financing from existing investors to support development of its intracoronary imaging catheter, which helps interventional cardiologists place stents.

The catheter offers high resolution of plaque structure and content in coronary blood vessels, according to the firm.

The funding round was led by Deerfield Management, a prior SpectraWave investor.
