Digital x-ray firm Kub Technologies (Kubtec) has won a contract with Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis for its Xpert 80 digital cabinet x-ray system.
The School of Medicine will use the device to further studies of methods of bone metastases in breast and prostate cancers. Xpert 80 consists of a self-contained cabinet with an x-ray source of up to 90 kV, according to Kubtec of Milford, CT.
