CMT of Yokneam Ilit, Israel, will introduce two new products at the 2006 RSNA conference -- FlexiRAD and SmartSpot PrimaX FPD. Both are part of the company's SmartRAD digital radiography family and will be shown as works-in-progress.
FlexiRAD is a DR unit that also features a fully integrated computed radiography system with reader and dedicated software. It is positioned for all general radiology clinical applications. The use of a CR cassette in combination with a DR system is useful whenever an exposure position cannot be provided by the SmartRAD's fixed DR detectors, according to the company.
SmartSpot PrimaX FPD is a premium digital radiography/fluoroscopy (R/F) and angiography imaging system, based on the Pixium 4700 FPD detector by flat-panel detector developer Trixell of Moirans, France.
SmartSpot PrimaX FPD is capable of performing all clinical R/F and digital subtraction angiography (DSA) procedures. Among the system's basic capabilities are patient registration, image acquisition, archiving, viewing, postprocessing, and DICOM 3.0 connectivity.
