Canadian digital radiography firm Imaging Dynamics reported record first-quarter revenues of $9.2 million (U.S.), up 102% compared with the $4.6 million booked in the first quarter of 2005.
For the period (end-March 31), the Calgary-based vendor had a net loss of $147,000, compared with net income of $386,000 last year.
IDC expects growth to remain robust as new markets and partnerships with OEMs and distributors gain further traction, according to the firm. The company also expects that anticipated sales from its pending Xaminer product line will further drive revenues in 2006, beginning in the second quarter of 2006.
