The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved Xeos' Aura 10 PET-CT specimen imaging system for the operating room.
The mobile device can produce specimen images 10 minutes after they have been excised, eliminating the need to transport them to radiology or pathology, Xeos said.
