Artificial intelligence (AI) software developer MaxQ AI announced its Accipio software will join GE Healthcare's CT Smart Subscription offering.
The subscription provides customers with continuous access to software updates through an automatic download to their CT scanners from the cloud. Hospitals with GE's CT units can integrate MaxQ's Accipio platform, for which Accipio Ix intracranial hemorrhage (ICH) detection software is now available, to support a physician's ability to identify and prioritize brain bleed stroke or head trauma, according to the firms.
