HCG Building Technologies of Ceres, CA, has installed a multimodality modular building at St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA. The facility upgrades the hospital's current MRI service and adds a second CT system.
The building is a separate 1,500-sq-ft facility and is the eighth structure on the St. Joseph Hospital campus. It contains two scanning rooms for a Vantage 1.5-tesla MRI system and an Aquilion 64 CT system, both from Toshiba America Medical Systems of Tustin, CA.
