SNMMI seeks to boost molecular imaging's value

The Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) is looking to boost the value of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging with the creation of the Value Initiative Industry Alliance.

The alliance brings together corporate stakeholders who will help implement SNMMI's Value Initiative and its focus on practice quality, research and development, workforce pipeline, advocacy, and outreach.

Co-chairs for the Industry Alliance are James Williams, PhD, head of the molecular imaging business unit at Siemens Healthineers, and Jonathan Allis, CEO of molecular imaging firm Blue Earth Diagnostics.

Alliance members plan to meet in Philadelphia at the SNMMI annual meeting being held June 23-26.
