GE HealthCare posts revenue growth in Q2

GE HealthCare reported a 5.7% increase in second-quarter 2026 revenues, driven by its Advanced Imaging Solutions and Pharmaceutical Diagnostics segments.  

For the period (end-June 30), the company had total revenues of $5.3 billion, up from $5 billion in the same period last year. The company's net income was $561 million, versus $486 million for the prior year, and included a $129 million benefit from tariff refunds recognized during the quarter, according to the company. Adjusted EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Taxes) was $750 million, versus $729 million in the previous year, reflecting a $23 million tariff-refund benefit. Tariff refunds of $106 million related to 2025 were excluded from Adjusted EBIT results. 

On a segment basis, Advanced Imaging Solutions revenue was up 7.9% to $3.771 billion and Pharmaceutical Diagnostics revenue grew 15.6% to $843 million. Meanwhile, Patient Care Solutions declined 13.3% to $675 million, the company noted. Total orders grew 11.1% organically, with a book-to-bill ratio of 1.15 times and a backlog of $23.9 billion. 

Among recent innovations, GE HealthCare noted it had received U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) 510(k) clearance for MIM Contour ProtégéAI+ 2.0, an AI-enabled radiation therapy planning tool, and had submitted its MIM KineticID 4D dynamic PET imaging tool for FDA 510(k) clearance.
