Agfa secures Ind. digital radiography contract

Agfa HealthCare has signed a contract with Hancock Health of Greenfield, IN, to provide the healthcare network with one of its DR 800 multipurpose digital imaging rooms.

DR 800 includes Agfa's Musica image processing and cesium iodide detector technology, which can reduce radiation dose by up to 60%, according to the firm. Hancock Health serves Indiana's Hancock County through its regional hospital and 20 other facilities, Agfa said.
