Hologic joins Nasdaq-100

Women's imaging vendor Hologic said it has been notified by the Nasdaq Stock Market that it will be added to the Nasdaq-100 Index.

The move will be effective at the opening of trading on December 24, according to the Bedford, MA-based vendor.
