Elekta repurchases own shares

Swedish radiation therapy provider Elekta of Stockholm has repurchased 100,000 of its own B shares, the company reported.

The firm made the purchases at an average price per share of $16 (105 kronor). The repurchase follows the decision of the company's board on January 23 that executive management should initiate the repurchase of shares amounting up to $15 million (100 million kronor), maximized to 1.2 million shares. The purchases will be made on the Nordic Exchange.
