Patient Comfort introduces new MRI pads

Patient Comfort Systems of Hayward, CA, has introduced a new table pad and set of positioning devices for MR-guided stereotactic breast biopsies.

The set is designed to address the need for enhanced comfort during MR-guided breast biopsy procedures, which require women to lie prone for extended time periods. The new pads include the company's open cell foam, which has viscoelastic properties that provide advanced pressure management, the company said.
