Positron, Neusoft enter joint venture

PET vendor Positron has formed a joint venture with Neusoft Medical Systems in Shenyang, China.

The joint venture, to be called Neusoft-Positron Medical Systems, will produce PET and PET/CT systems, according to Houston-based Positron. Positron president and CEO Gary Brooks said he expects to receive the necessary approvals for the joint venture within the next 30 days.
