SonoSite projects Q3 growth, replaces CFO

Compact-ultrasound developer SonoSite of Bothell, WA, expects to post a 23% gain in revenues in the third quarter (end-September 30).

The company estimated that revenues will total more than $61 million in the third quarter, compared to the same quarter of 2007. The company also forecast that earnings will exceed expectations. SonoSite plans to release its final third-quarter report on October 30.

The company also announced that senior vice president and CFO Bernard Pitz has left the firm at the request of the company. Replacing Pitz as CFO is Michael Schuh, previously vice president of finance and business process. Schuh served as CFO from July 2000 to May 2008.
