Toshiba awarded VA contract

Medical imaging vendor Toshiba America Medical Systems has signed a contract with the Veterans Administration National Acquisition Center (VANAC) to supply diagnostic ultrasound systems to Veterans Administration Centers, clinics, and other federal agencies worldwide. Under the agreement, VA facilities and other federal hospitals can purchase Toshiba's ultrasound products through VANAC. The contract covers a one-year period and may be extended for up to three years, according to Tustin, CA-based Toshiba.
