Intraoperative radiation therapy firm Intraop Medical has received an order from Westeinde Hospital in the Hague, Netherlands, for its Mobetron mobile electron beam accelerator.
The product is used for delivering intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) during cancer surgery, according to Sunnyvale, CA-based Intraop. This was the second Mobetron order from a Dutch hospital, and the 20th worldwide, the company said.
