Intraop gets Belgian Mobetron order

Intraoperative radiation therapy firm Intraop Medical has received an order from Saint Augustinius Hospital in Antwerp, Belgium, for its Mobetron system.

The Mobetron system is used for delivering intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) during cancer surgery, according to Sunnyvale, CA-based Intraop. The order marks the eighth installation of the technology in Europe, the company said.
