Accuray's CyberKnife performs well at CA center

Image-guided radiosurgery developer Accuray reported that the California Cancer Center in Fresno has successfully performed 25 treatments with its CyberKnife G4 radiosurgery system in its first month of operation at the facility.

The California Cancer Center was the first site to install the CyberKnife G4, and has used the system to treat patients with lung, spine, and brain lesions.

The Sunnyvale, CA-based company has more than 122 systems installed or under contract to be installed at customer sites worldwide.
