Siemens hits Avanto milestone

Siemens Medical Solutions has installed its 100th Magnetom Avanto 1.5-tesla MR scanner with Tim technology.

Christus Santa Rosa Hospital-Medical Center in San Antonio received the system, according to the Malvern, PA-based vendor. Siemens launched the scanner at the 2003 RSNA meeting.
