Naviscan adds Johns Hopkins install

PET developer Naviscan of San Diego has installed its positron emission mammography (PEM) device at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore.

Johns Hopkins will use PEM in research for the development of novel radiotracers. Other academic medical centers using Naviscan's PEM technology include the University of Cincinnati; Baylor University in Dallas; M. D. Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas in Houston; the University of Chicago; and Boston University Medical Center, according to Naviscan.
