MIS buys Cardinal nuke labs

Molecular Imaging Services (MIS) of Bear, DE, is expanding its nuclear imaging lab network with an acquisition of imaging lab practices from Cardinal Health of Dublin, OH.

MIS will offer a turnkey suite of services to enable cardiologists to provide office-based diagnostic imaging to their patients.

Cardinal Health, which operates approximately 160 radiopharmacies and 30 cyclotron-based PET radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, will continue to distribute radiopharmaceuticals to nuclear imaging labs operated by MIS.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
