PETNet opens radiopharmacy in NC

PETNet Solutions, a subsidiary of Siemens Healthcare in Malvern, PA, has opened a new SPECT radiopharmacy in Raleigh, NC.

The facility, located next to PETNet's PET manufacturing and distribution center, comes via an agreement with radiopharmaceutical firm Covidien of Hazelwood, MO, for PETNet to offer a combined portfolio of high-energy and low-energy radioisotopes to the nuclear medicine community.

PETNet Solutions operates 50 radiopharmacies and distribution centers throughout the world.
