Digirad sells AZ, NV assets

Nuclear medicine firm Digirad of Poway, CA, has sold the assets of its Arizona and Nevada service locations to Ohio-based Antigua Medical Services.

The transaction includes portable nuclear imaging cameras, vans, and related equipment, as well as certain customer contracts from the now-former Digirad service locations in Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Tucson.

Digirad CEO Todd Clyde said the deal allows the company to focus on a core group of Digirad Imaging Solutions locations to facilitate utilization and profitability.

Digirad plans to continue to realign and consolidate its service hubs in the coming months.
