Siemens Medical Solutions has installed its Symbia SPECT/CT and SPECT technology at the University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center (MDACC) in Houston.

MDACC is now employing five Symbia T6 systems with TruePoint SPECT/CT technology, as well as four Symbia S SPECT-only systems. The institution is now the largest Symbia installation, according to Siemens of Malvern, PA.

Siemens said it has sold nearly 150 Symbia S and Symbia T systems to date.
