Digirad revenues rise, but loss widens in Q1

Nuclear medicine vendor Digirad reported first-quarter revenues of $18 million, up 13% compared with the $15.9 million turned in during the first quarter of 2004. For the period (end-March 31), the Poway, CA-based vendor had a net loss of $981,000, compared with a net loss of $266,000 a year ago.

In positive developments, Digirad said that revenues in its Digirad Imaging Solutions (DIS) mobile leasing services business climbed 18% to reach $12.3 million, up from $10.4 million last year.
