SNM awards technologist grants

The Society of Nuclear Medicine recently awarded $40,000 in scholarships and grants for molecular/nuclear medicine technologist students.

The awards include two first-time scholarships: the Mickey Williams Minority Student Scholarship, which provides $5,000 to a minority student entering or enrolled in a molecular/nuclear medicine technologist program, and the Professional Development Scholarship, which provides $5,000 to assist a nuclear medicine technologist in pursuit of a master's or doctoral degree.

In addition, 30 $1,000 Paul Cole Scholarships, funded by the Education and Research Foundation for the Society of Nuclear Medicine, were handed out by the Reston, VA-based society.
