Digirad debuts Cardius-3

Nuclear medicine vendor Digirad has debuted Cardius-3, a solid-state nuclear gamma camera with three detectors designed for cardiac imaging applications.

Cardius-3 is based on a platform that offers a flexible upgrade path from a single-head to a fixed-dual or triple-head system, according to the San Diego-based vendor. The system is comprised of a gamma camera with an upright imaging chair and an acquisition/processing station that is capable of performing a seven-minute stress acquisition study, Digirad said.
