Medtronic completes Endeavor enrollments

Interventional technology firm Medtronic reported that it has completed patient enrollment in its Endeavor IV clinical study, a step toward final data evaluation of the drug-eluting coronary stent system and submission of an application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for possible approval.

In other stent-trial news, the Minneapolis-based firm said it has completed enrollment in two other clinical trials: its Resolute study evaluating the company's next-generation drug-eluting stent product, and the Endeavor-Japan study, evaluating the stent at 12 clinical sites in that country.
