Boston Scientific buys TriVascular

Interventional device manufacturer Boston Scientific has acquired TriVascular, a Santa Rosa, CA-based developer of treatment devices for abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA).

Natick, MA-based Boston Scientific exercised an exclusive option it received in December 2002 to acquire TriVascular. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
