Canon debuts new DR system

Canon U.S.A. of Lake Success, NY, has unveiled its new Canon CXDI-40G Compact digital radiography (DR) system.

The new flat-panel detector, which can be retrofitted onto existing radiography equipment, is equipped with a large image sensor and capabilities similar to the CXDI-40EG panel, with minimal housing.

CXDI-40G Compact DR also features a 17 x 17-inch imaging area designed to confirm x-ray images on an optional preview monitor approximately three seconds after exposure.
