Philips awarded $77.2 million defense contract

Philips Healthcare of Andover, MA, has received a $77.2 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Philips will provide patient monitoring systems, subsystems, accessories, consumables, spare/repair parts, and training for the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps, as well as federal civilian agencies. Work on the contract is expected to finish by March 2010.
