Siemens lands large Korean order

Siemens Healthcare has received an imaging equipment order valued at approximately $40 million from the Catholic Medical Center in Seoul, South Korea.

The Erlangen, Germany-based firm will supply a total of 70 systems, including MRI, CT, angiography, x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography, and radiation therapy systems. Siemens has also signed a service contract for maintenance, upkeep, and permanent monitoring of the equipment.
