MDS revenues dip in third quarter

Canadian healthcare company MDS of Mississauga, Ontario, posted its third quarter (end-July 31) financial results.

The company reported total revenue of $321 million, the same amount as the previous year during the same period. Net revenue was $298 million, a 3% decrease compared to $308 million in the third quarter of 2007.

Its subsidiary, MDS Nordion, also saw a 5% dip in revenue, reporting $72 million for the quarter compared to $76 million for the same period last year.
