ADM signs with GE for PET and fused imaging systems

Imaging services company American Diagnostic Medicine and GE Medical Systems have signed an exclusive imaging technology agreement for more than 40 GE PET and fused imaging systems.

Under the multiyear agreement, which becomes effective January 1, 2002, Waukesha, WI-based GEMS will supply Discovery LS and Discovery VI CT/PET systems and Advance NXi PET systems to Elmhurst, IL-based ADM for use in its imaging centers, physician groups, and hospitals in California, Florida, Illinois, and Texas.

ADM has placed an initial order for six GE Discovery VI fused imaging systems.
