DraxImage to make radiotherapy capsules for Bracco

Radiopharmaceutical provider DraxImage has signed a manufacturing contract to supply sodium iodide I-131 radiotherapy capsules to Bracco Diagnostics of Princeton, NJ for U.S. distribution. Shipments of the capsules -- used to treat thyroid cancer and hyperthyroidism -- are expected to begin by the end of the third quarter, according to Mississauga, Ontario-based DraxImage.
