September 20, 2016 -- The 2016 International Day of Radiology (IDoR) will be held on November 8 and will be dedicated to breast imaging.

A joint initiative of the European Society of Radiology, American College of Radiology, and RSNA, this year's IDoR will see the European Society of Breast Imaging and the Society of Breast Imaging actively participating in various IDoR activities to help stress the significance of radiology in breast healthcare, according to the organizers.

The EuroSafe Imaging and Image Wisely radiation protection campaigns will also be involved in the event. More information on IDoR 2016 can be found on the initiative's website.
