Mississauga, Ontario-based Cedara Software, a Merge Healthcare company, will showcase Cedara B-CAD, a diagnostic tool for breast ultrasound that supports computer-aided detection (CAD) for mammography and MRI.

Cedara B-CAD generates automatic reports using the American College of Radiology's BI-RADS ultrasound lexicon classification form, and analyzes, segments, and classifies shape and orientation characteristics of regions of interest the user has chosen. Cedara B-CAD can be used as an option with Cedara's I-ReadMammo soft-copy reading workstation, which will also be featured in the company's booth.
